Hello,

i'm looking for Co-Location in Hengelo or near Hengelo (1U) or Tower. The server is ready to use and hosted currenty in Germany. Included Traffic should be at least 100 GB. Admission and Support must be available 24/7 hours.

We'll set up 3 new Servers, own switch and KVM-over-IP Switch (3 x 1U in August) so that we need 10U in August.

I'll be happy about any offer you can make. Please include at least montly cost per server, costs for traffic in cent / GB.

Is Ede (nearby Arnhem) an option for you? We can provide this for you in August. And do you need 100 GB per server or for the total 10U?

Sure it would be. We need 100 GB total. One server should be moved start on July. 3 new servers will be set up August as load balancing for sql. I forgot to mention that we need a total of 8 IP-Adresses cause of SSL and KVM-Switch

I could make you an offer for colocation in Doetinchem, between Bocholt and Arnhem. 100 Gbyte / 10 U is available next week. Although I can’t write German I can speak it. Only offers are not aloud in this particular part of the forum. An indication of 1U and 100 Gbyte will however be around 50 euro/month, of course including all of our standard services such as free remote-hands etc.

Traffic is (much) cheaper in Amsterdam.
About 0,10 EUR/GB

If you want to colocate in Hengelo, I would recommend www.introweb.nl
Or you might want to contact www.virtu.nl in Enschede (10 KM near Hengelo)

I believe they both have connections to the NDIX

Quality traffic in Amsterdam/Schiphol-Rijk should be possible for just 10 eurocent/GB datatraffic. This is for example really good possible if you buy mbit's (multiple) (more than 1 network offers it).

Some people think that a higher price means higher quality, but that is of course incorrect. There are many quality providers that can sell you traffic for EUR 20/Mbps. On the other hand, there are also providers with very little capacity and worse performance but much higher prices. Prices in Amsterdam can be much lower because all big POP's are in Amsterdam. That means that the quality and performance of those networks will be better in most cases.

Dear Derhase,

I've you give me a commitment, I can make an offer. How higher the commitment, how cheaper the traffic. If you don't use our remote-hands option, it will be a bit cheaper. However, in Doetinchem i can't make offers below 20 ct/Gbyte unless I use an overselling trick and believe me, you don't want budget-bandwith.
(Doetinchem will be connected to the ND/IX also, next month)
