It's highlighting "Bug", "Select", "*", "From", and "$table". But "*"
    matches everything. Try:

    http://forum.example.com/viewtopic.php?t=[num]&highlight=*

That's exactly how it is intended to work. Not only is it not a security
issue, it's not even a bug.

Actually, I found that it doesn't matter if an SQL query is there or not=2E=

    Example:

    http://www=2Eexample=2Ecom/viewtopic...ght=3Dbug,%20*

    Something like:

    http://www=2Eexample=2Ecom/viewtopic...hlight=3Dbug,*

does not work however=2E There doesn't _appear_ to be any exploit here,
though granted I did not check this a great deal=2E

    Re: PHP BB bug

As per the Project Manager of phpBB, it is an added feature. (I spoke to
him about this already.) There is no exploit or bug.
