Onderwerp: Apt-get werkt niet door IPv6

Vandaag wilde ik kijken of er nog updates zijn voor ubuntu.
Dus 'sudo apt-get update' uitgevoerd, en hoe kan het ook anders. hij doet het niet!

Het probleem komt waarschijnlijk door mijn IPv6 connectiviteit.
Want hij zeurt namelijk niets te kunnen vinden omdat hij naar mijn server gaat via IPv6.

Als ik de hostname ping doet hij het gewoon.
Maar als ik ping via ping6 gaat hij inderdaad naar mijn server.

Dus wie weet hoe dit probleem kan oplossen, zonder IPv6 uit te zetten.
Ik heb al Google'ed en dat heeft niets opgeleverd.

En ondertussen werkt het nog steeds niet.

Is je route table wel correct, doe eens een traceroute en traceroute6 naar bvb archive.ubuntu.com om te zien wat die geeft.

topic zeker gemist de eerste keer. Ik heb dit ook gehad. Dit had te maken met iets heel raars waar ik nog geen verklaring voor heb. Maar mijn 'hostname' was het zelfde als het het IPv6 adres van die machine. Als ik de hostname veranderde had ik er geen last meer van..

is dat in jou geval ook zo?

waarschijnlijk staat in uw /etc/hosts een verwijzing in naar ipv6, kan je die file hier eens kopieren?

is de 'hostname' van die bak toevallig rollerscapes.net?

daar de output van

Hostname is 'toros'.

Hmzz.. Als je die toevoegd aan je hosts file voor 127.0.0.1 en ::1 ?

Mijn hostname was gelijk aan de (sub)domeinnaam voor die server, en toen ik deze veranderde naar een hostname die geen domeinnaam was.. werkte hij opeens perfect..

Het vreemde is namelijk dat als je resolved hij het vaak wel goed doet, maar zodra je zoals in jou voorbeeld, gaat traceroute6'en hij het niet doet.

Ik heb me hosts file aangepast, en nog steeds doet hij het niet.
PS: moet ik me netwerk interface herladen als ik dit aanpas?

dat komt omdat hij "resolved" naar het ip van je lokale machine en daar draait dus apache, en zal ie daar zoeken naar zn spullen... wat dus niet correct is

ik heb het toen opgelost gekregen door mn hostname aan te passen. maar uiteinderlijk is het geen echte fix omdat ik niet weet wat het exacte probleem is..

Merk wel dat ie het alleen doet als je IPv6 doet (toevallig tunnel?) heb sinds kort native en heb het eigenlijk nog niet terug gezet om het nog eens te testen.
