A Netherlands acquaintance from the US-WHT site suggested we post our request for TWO separate Netherlands-based hosting companies (with NL servers/datacenters) here to host two servers for us, one smaller than the other (since the smaller will be slave to the other (master). (He assured us no one would be offended by our post being in English since we don't speak Dutch. )

These are our minimum requirements:

Server 1--Larger/master server:

* Intel Core 2 Duo or Quad Core Xeon (2.1+GHz; 800-1100+Mhz)
* 4 GB DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 8 GB, if nec.)
* (1+) 500+ GB HDD (Non-RAID preferred if more than one HDD)
* max 1000 mbit connection
* 250-500 GB traffic p/m
* 15 IP addresses (min. 3, 12 additional at no more than €1 p/m EACH w/no setup fees for IP addresses)
* Full root/ SSH access
* IMPERATIVE: Remote access control panel (like DRAC on Dell server) with power control and ability to complete repair and maintenance tasks and OS reinstalls remotely WITHOUT having to contact Tech Support or pay for such services**
* Netherlands-based company (registered in NL)/NL server/datacenter ONLY
* CentOS 5.3 x86_64 Linux (minimal) installed
* Full virtualization capability/virtualization software installed
* Unmanaged
* NO hosting control panel (DirectAdmin, Cpanel, etc.) needed
* Upgradeable RAM, B/W, IP addresses, etc. as well as to a newer/larger dedi in first 30-days of contract without paying setup fees
* Full hardware SLA

Monthly budget for this server is €125 MAXIMUM.

Server 2--Smaller/slave server: (MUST be located at separate data center with an entirely DIFFERENT provider)

* Intel Core 2 Duo (2.1+GHz; 800+Mhz)
* 2 GB DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 4 GB, if nec.)
* 250+ GB HDD (Non-RAID preferred if more than one HDD)

* 250-500 GB traffic p/m

For BOTH servers:

* 64-bit, fully-virtualized
* Responsive, English-speaking tech support, preferably 24/7** by email or phone and response within several hours
* TOS/Privacy Policies/Legal Policies available in English without the "Dutch only" terms valid caveat
* Server/order details available in English
* Fully itemized invoices available upon request
* Server provisioned and ready-to-use within 24-48 hours after payment clears (must be guaranteed in writing)
* MONTHLY contract (with NO 30-day advanced notice cancellation clause**) and PayPal as payment option.

Prospective providers should be clear that this server is for our completely legal, US-based businesses that represent high-profile individuals engaged in legal business activities themselves. We will host several websites and blogs that are business-oriented and targeted to them, C-suite decision-makers who contract for our services and their audiences.

Our sites will contain NO adult content (legal or otherwise, whether it's called porn, erotica, or whatever), warez, torrents, copyrighted material for which we don't have permission to post/use, or overtly controversial materials like anti-government, hate speech, etc. We won't be spamming, phishing or doing IRC. We will not market to or represent clients who engage in such activities, even if legal in their jurisdiction.

We are not going to be hosting others' websites and our sites/blogs aren't expected to generate excessively high traffic. We use IP addresses for NS purposes and other purposes for which separate IP addresses are needed. So, we won't need DDoS or similar protection.

We are looking for offers that provide at least 85-90% of what we want for the budget we have. Features like size and speed of servers, OS type, amount of RAM, number of IP addresses, remote server control with full power control (shutdown, reboot, management, automatic 24/7 OS reinstall), English-speaking tech support, NL-owned/located and NL datacenter are requirements. We will accept the two best offers and are particularly interested in those with NO setup fees. Our deadline for decision is Friday, May 22, 2009.
