Ik ben als newbe begonnen met het inrichten van een webserver. Het is een dedicated met Debian Sarge, Apache, Webmin, Mysql, php en proftpd.
Ik heb in Proftpd de proftpd.conf ingesteld (via Webmin) en zou dan verwachten dat als ik wil inloggen via (een ftp prog) dat dan kan.
Maar nee dat lukt niet... Wat is het probleem. Zie hier de tekst van de instellingen in de proftpd.conf file (nan aanpassing via webmin gestart)...
Wat ik overigens ook graag zou willen is niet met mijn root wachtwoord van Debian inloggen maar met een ander wachtwoord en inlognaam. Omdat ik via ftp bang ben dat eventueel het root wachtwoord in verkeerde handen kan komen..
Vooralsnog ben ik de enige die via ftp zal inloggen. En de diverse sites zal uploaden.
A.u.b, uw aller advies. Ik heb vrijwel alle info die er via Google over het onderwerp te vinden is geraadpleegdmaar zie nog niet helemaal het "licht"..
