Ik ging dit eigenlijk vorige week al plaatsen maar ik ben er dan niet meer tot gekomen.

De meeste admins onder ons die zich wat met security bezig houden weten wel wat grsecurity is en begrijpen ook wel welke impact dit zal hebben.

Due to a sponsor unexpectedly dropping sponsorship of grsecurity while continually promising payment, I began the summer in debt and had to borrow money from family to pay for food. If none of the companies that depend on grsecurity, some of them being very large, are able to sponsor the project, grsecurity will cease to exist. I am not looking for paypal donations at this point, unless those that donate do so with the recognition that despite their donation, grsecurity may still never be returning.'"

das balen zeg me volgende kernel word dus dan maar zonder Grsec...

dat is waar, maar wie zeg dat dat genoeg is ?

nou als het schijnbaar goed is, dan zijn er vast wel een 100 bedrijven die 10 dollar/euro per maand willen geven en dan ook nog wel een paar die 50 per maand kunnen missen...

kom je op 1500 per maand uit ... das een begin...

Ben tevreden van slackware, uiterst stabiel en secure (mits grsecurity).

Volgende week openwall is testen en anders zoveel mogelijk naar freebsd te proberen krijgen.

Yup, deze jongen is weer enkele duizenden euro's rijker en zijn vakantie zal al geboekd zijn. Hij verdient het overigens wel net zoals andere initiatieven zoals deze.
