Onderwerp: Fedora 4 problemen...

Op een kale fedora 4 bak krijg ik continue de volgende fout als ik iets met yum of up2date probeer te doen:
[root@dedi download]# yum install webmin
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

libssl.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.4.3 (#1, Jun 13 2006, 16:41:18)
[GCC 4.0.2 20051125 (Red Hat 4.0.2-8)]

Heb bovenstaande link reeds bezocht, maar daar vind ik niets wat ik moet/kan veranderen om ervoor te zorgen dat yum toch werkt...

Misschien moet je gewoon een de error opnieuw lezen en libssl installeren of gewoon ssl installeren.

zelfs yum install libssl werkt niet...

yum install ssl

Lees eens die fout ...

GlobalServe : had dit allemaal reeds geprobeerd! Sorry dat ik dit niet eerst vermelde.

Blijkbaar is met een installatie van DA iets misgelopen, want deze overschrijft altijd de lib files...en verneukt het boeltje...
