Onderwerp: Domme vraag (placeholder)

Hoe verander je ook al weer de 'place holder' van Plesk (7.5.4). Dus de standaard pagina die je ziet als een domein is aangemaakt maar nog geen files zijn ge upload...

Staat dat niet in de .skel-directory?

jep als reseller/admin heb je bij home >> Virtual host skeleton management
je skeleton, maar via SSH kun je er ook in de home of www map komen

Mm, daarvoor moet ik zaken als TAR of ZIP file versturen. Terwijl het enkel om een HTML paginaatje gaat.

Waarheen moet ik via SSH mijn eigen default index page uploaden. De truc heb ik ooit op dit forum gelezen maar kan het helaas niet terugvinden. In welke map staat die default index file?

bij mij was dat destijds in dezelfde map waar alle domeinnamen/users te zien waren
( home of www )

je kunt ook even laten zoeken naar het path?

ik zie dat het heel simpel is:

You can set your control panel to automatically include specific files and directories into Web
spaces created for newly hosted Web sites. This can be a set of useful scripts, custom error
messages, a placeholder index.html page, or any other files of your choice. These files can then
be replaced, edited or removed on a per-site basis.
To set up the control panel so as to automatically include your web content into web spaces:
1 On your local file system, create the required directories: httpdocs,
httpsdocs, cgi-bin, anon_ftp, error_docs.
2 Place the files you need into the directories you have created: Place web
pages into httpdocs and httpsdocs directories, scripts to cgi-bin
directory, and custom error messages to error_docs directory.
3 Pack the directories and files into an archive file in tgz, tar, tar.gz, or zip
format.
Make sure that the directories are in the root of the archive file and not in a subdirectory.
4 Log in to your Plesk control panel.

Skeleton icon in the Tools group.
6 Click the Browse button to locate the archive file on your local computer,

Zoek eens naar de (verborgen) map .skel --> daarin staan normaal de skeleton bestanden, oa. de standaard index file.

Volgens mij heeft het niets met skeletons te maken.

Ooit heb ik via SSH (WinSCP) ergens op de server een index file vervangen naar aanleiding van een tip op dit forum. Zo werd de standaard Plesk pagina mooi vervangen door een eigen creatie.

Gewoon het overschrijven van een standaard HTML pagina dus. Dat zou ik nu graag weer willen doen maar ben vergeten waar dat moet.

Iemand die weet waar de Plesk default page staat?

Waarin wel degelijk verwezen wordt naar de skeleton-dir. De skeleton-dir is namelijk de dir die wordt gekopieerd voor iedere nieuwe account.

(De directe dir is dan dus: /home/httpd/vhosts/.skel )
