Interactive 3D (i3D.net) is now connected to the Poland Internet Exchange PLIX. The PLIX has 200 active member ports and peaks at 120 Gbit traffic. This new addition to our network brings East-Europe a little closer in terms of latency and routing.

i3D recently also upgraded the London Internet Exchange connection to 10 GbE. Together with our AMS-IX connection and DE-CIX connection, i3D.net is connected to the three largest internet exchanges in the world. i3D uses these connections to add more reliable, direct and low latency connections to major cable, DSL and dialup ISPs and content providers.

Scheduled network upgrades
In the following months, the i3D network will grow even further. We will also connect to NetNod Stockholm and add another private interconnect to Rackspace UK in London Slough. Earlier this year we connected to Equinix Ashburn, USA.
