Mailproblemen

Eén van de sites die op mn DA server gehost zijn (hachiko.org) klaagt al enige tijd dat ze problemen hebben met het ontvangen van mails. Soms komt de mail maar 2-3 dagen later toe, soms helemaal niet. Heel bizarre situatie dus...

Heeft iemand een idee wat er hier aan de hand is?

Heb even gevraagd om van iemand die een mail gestuurd had, maar die hachiko niet ontving de foutboodschap door te sturen...

No address...terwijl hachiko.org weldegelijk bestaat ;-)

outfbmx002.isp.belgacom.be kan mail.hachiko.org niet resolven.

Maar ik denk dat jij er verder weinig aan kan doen want er is wel gewoon een A record voor die hostname.

Controleer o.a. hier: http://www.shellz.nl/dns/ of de DNS klopt.

Kan dit soms zijn omdat ik op blacklists (spamlists) sta of iets dergelijk?

Als het blacklisted is dan ga je een mail krijgen van Belgacom dat hetwel degelijk blacklisted is.

Bedankt voor je hulp, ik had hachiko.org reeds gechecked in de dnsreport.com... Ben wel wat in de war over het volgende...

Kunnen jullie even de moeite doen om te kijken of jullie mail toekomt? (er hoeft niet iets zinnigs in te staan ;-))

U bedoeld toch de glues van ns1.it2go.be en ns2.it2go.be?

Zou mij verwonderen mocht de fout daar liggen...is namelijk altijd al zo geweest...

The parent servers (I checked with tld6.ultradns.co.uk.) are not providing glue for all your nameservers. This means that they are supplying the NS records (host.example.com), but not supplying the A records (192.0.2.53), which can cause slightly slower connections, and may cause incompatibilities with some non-RFC-compliant programs. This is perfectly acceptable behavior per the RFCs. This will usually occur if your DNS servers are not in the same TLD as your domain (for example, a DNS server of "ns1.example.org" for the domain "example.com"). In this case, you can speed up the connections slightly by having NS records that are in the same TLD as your domain.

Heb zonet even gebeld met de persoon (smurf, ook aanwezig op dit forum) die voro mij de domeinen geregged heeft, en daar staat alles OK...

Gechecked door smurf= sta ook niet in blacklists oid...

Blijkbaar zet DirectAdmin dit standaard zo, want dat heb ik ook op mijn andere domeinen (bvb krisken.be, tamira.be,...) waar alles perfect werk?

En die zijn allemaal verkeerd. Kijk maar na op dnsreport.com of www.zonecheck.fr of ...

ERROR: One or more of the NS records that your nameservers report are invalid:

62.213.199.169. is not a valid host name (it must be a host name, not an IP address)

het is een detail, en sommige servers gaan erover vallen, anderen gaan het stilzwijgend corrigeren.
