Yes you will need a license for each machine, GameCP will control all servers, Windows and Linux, from 1 main install on a Linux Webserver.

I must say that what is stated in the first post is quite true for the old versions, We had baught a GameCP licence in July (i I remember well) and we ve never been able to have it running completely.

The old game CP site was completely messy and the mailing we recieved from time to time were not clear about what we had to do to upgrade, always refering to the website for instructions

As there was no hurry (gameservers arent our main business) we always waited to see game cp packed with an auto installer.

But from what I can see now all this has been improved. I ll try again to install the last version.. (it seems that the general aspect has also been improved, the admin panel looks more clear with the new skin)

800 dollar imo is way to much. I host gameservers for friend's and my own clan. So i have ask my friend's and clanmembers to pay ( 800 : 5 : 7 ) 22 dollar per gameserver more.... That is a increase of 200 % , thats not fair isn't ?

For that money you can almose find a starting scripter thats gonna make a GCP for you for lifetime and to your wishes.

I think you might be confused Filipino.

The licenses are not per-gameserver ie, per a user running a game server or per total number of game servers running.

A "game server" is a server process of a game daemon, ie hlds.exe.

Our prices are based on "physical machines" the actual hardware you are running, we do not limit how many "users" or "game servers" you can run on a machine, you simply need to purchase a license to add the "physical machine" into the GameCP software.

I would just like to update here and let everyone know we have released the latest version of GameCP on our IRC network and will be sending out an email soon with details on the new features and functionality.

I urge everyone to take a look at the demo atleast, see all of the good in GameCP, its a very complex program and should do almost everything you really need.

You don't have to tell me what a gameserver is, i know a gameserver is a progress, but i running/setting up a huge gaming communitie so i have 2 servers running but in the future it will be 5 servers.

Your calculation is incorrect IMO. it is a increase of 22 dollar on a onetime basis. If they pay you a year it's only a increase of 22/12= less then 2 dollar a month.
