This is not the first time that the scarlet newsserver is not running the
news-program. Anyway, the server respond to the ping command - so the server
is not power-off. Therefore i suspect a software maintenance and hope a
rapid solution.

Or the newsserver program crashed .. and there is nobody able to correct it
