    Wireless USRobotics not compatible with Belgacom?

    Hi all,
    I bought a Wireless MAXg ADSL 9108 and a PC Card USR5411 to use for my
    Belgacom connection. But have been having great difficulties with my
    connection - it suddenly drops. I would then solve this by turning the modem
    off and on.
    US Robotics says the standard CD configuration may not be accurate to
    Belgacom parameters so I may need to do a manual installation.

    Belgacom can only give me these parameters arguing that the ones in their
    shop only require these:
    vpi=8
    vci=35
    encapsulation=llc or snap
    Normally it's pppoe (ethernet), but pppoa is also possible.

    While US Robotics can still give no further light on what to fill in on
    these.
    > Service category: USB without PCR
    > Enable Quality Of Service: deselected
    > PPPoe service name: empty
    > Authentication method: Automatic
    > MTU: 1492
    > Dial on demand (with idle timeout timer) : deselected
    > PPP IP extension: deselected
    > IGMP multicast: selected
    > WAN service: selected
    > Service name: pppoe_8_35_1
    > Allow "Reaim" proxy: selected

    Does any of you have any ideas on what is the best parameters? or how to
    solve this issue?
    Thanks.
