Bekijk Volledige Versie : Decent Domain Name Registrar?

Hopefully you folks can give me some ideas. I currently register domains through OpenProvider (http://www.openprovider.nl - http://www.openprovider.co.uk). Now there's nothing wrong with them per se, but their backend has significant issues. They have a higher incidence of stuff going wrong than with any registrar I've ever known. Their tech support is willing and helpful (when they can be of help, that is) yet this is far from a satisfactory situation.

Can anyone recommend a decent registrar that is focused on the provider market, can handle resellers a bit more elegantly than OP does, has a web interface that doesn't require that you send them a damn fax whenever you increase your balance (! grrr) and is (gasp) maybe even a bit less expensive?

All ideas, suggestions and advice are more than welcome!!

I use transip.nl for my domain registrations.
Very good system and very good support.

You can find them at http://www.transip.nl

I can also recommend Transip. You make use of a online control panel, which you can immediate registrar domains. Payment is afterwards.

Thanks a whole lot to:
Starfix & FSCJasper - for transip.nl
Tuinslak - for zor.in (I initially thought that was a joke...far from it!!)
and last, but certainly not least, muaddib for opendomainregistry.net

I have no clue yet which one I'll go with, but the recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all for responding.
