Als ik inlog als Admin, bij bij "Extra Features" één van de volgende opdrachten gebruik, krijg ik continue een time-out. Hij laad de pagina dus niet. OS = Fedora Core 3, DA versie 1.25.5.

geen resultaat
Mail naar Da wijst uit dat dit een connectieprobleem op poort 80 zou zijn. Er staat nochthans niets in de IP tables, en de firewall staat open op poort 80 (bvb telnet google.be 80 werkt perfect)

1) That would likely be a ip binding issue. For both those pages, DA will bind to your server IP, and make an outoing httpd connection to a remote server to get the version numbers. So, either the connection isn't being made correctly, or there is a firewall blocking it.
If this is linux, try typing:
/sbi/service iptables stop

Telnet werkt dus wel over poort 80...
Kan jouw server wel verbinding maken met deze remote server? Maw, is het geen netwerk probleem?

ping vanaf thuis van files.directadmin.com werkt ook niet btw. Surfen ernaar echter wel. Als ik die update doe, en tegelijk een tcpdump port 53 laat lopen zie ik er geen logs van...

For versin in the licenses page, the equivalent command with wget would be:
wget --bind-address=1.2.3.4 http://www.directadmin.com/ver.php
where 1.2.3.4 is your license IP address.
Normaly the issue is the IP isn't valid or isn't routed correctly, but give the above command a try and see if it works or not.

And that would by why the licensing and plugin pages timeout.
You'll want to contact your datacenter to see what the issue is.
It might be a routing issue somewhere, I'm not too sure.

Naar andere sites toe is geen probleem...wget's etc evenmin.
misschien wordt er een afwijkende poort gebruikt en wordt deze niet toegestaan door de/een firewall
