Ik zie bij "aanbiedingen" dat enkele bedrijfjes .us domeinnamen registreren.
Het vreemde is nu dat de Amerikaanse domeinsite duidelijk vermeldt dat enkel mensen/bedrijven met adres in de VS een .us domeinnaam mogen kopen.
Toch verkopen heel wat Europese registrars de .us domeinen. Hoe kan je als Europeaan dan zo'n .us bezitten ??
Zelfde vraag geldt overigens voor .com.au, die normaal voorbehouden zijn aan Australiërs en mensen die in Australië een adres hebben, maar wel kunnen geregistreerd worden door sommige Europese registrars.
Nee hoor. Een .us-domein kun je net zo easy registreren als een .com-domein.
Het kan inderdaad vrij gemakkelijk, maar mochten ze ooit gaan controleren, dan raak je hem misschien wel kwijt...
simpel, wij hebben iemand in de VS, en die is dus wel inwoner :)
Maar dat is dan toch slechts een tussenpersoon ? Als de registrant (= eigenaar van het domein) in Europa woont zit je toch ook met hetzelfde probleem, ookal is er een tussenpersoon met adres in de VS ?
Je hoeft er niet persé te wonen, de volgende opties heb je:

Met name C31 biedt wel enig perspectief
bij die Nexus Country moet je dan ofwel Amerikaan zijn of een buitenlander met adres in de VS. Dus daar ben je als Europeaan toch niets mee ?

C31 is bedrijf in buitenland met belangen in Amerika.
Of begrijp ik iets verkeerd?

C31 wil inderdaad zeggen dat je een buitenlands bedrijf bent met commerciele of andere belangen in de US. Bijvoorbeeld regelmatig handel drijven met de US. Je kan aanhalen dat je je oa. richt op Amerikaanse klanten en hiervoor een .us domein nodig hebt.
Ik heb er geen last van. Ik voldoe aan de voorwaarden van C21 :)
