solved] Hardware failure router 2 ams7
Around 21.40u we noticed degraded performance of our network. Investigation led to the conclusion one of the backbone optical interfaces had stopped working. We started to reroute traffic over the other interfaces and the situation was stable again at 22.05u.
We are currently planning the replacement of the broken optical interface. The replacement will start within the next few hours and will be performed with as little impact as possible.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
Update: 1.30u Optical interface has been replaced. All traffic rerouted earlier is now following original paths.
