guys i need super stable server with many uplinks
we have big server that collecting data world wide and this is why we need server to have super good and pure line to asia europe usa and worldwide
we are looking for windows 2008 server
please advise with datacenter to go with that has 24/7/365 phone mail support

Why bother looking for the best DC with the best networks and with redundant uplinks to a single server?? One single server is still one singe point of failure. Wouldn't setting up at least 2 servers in 2 DC's be a better option?

Perhaps it would also be appropiate to let us know your budget, we can give you indeed lists with good quality and service driven datacenters, however if your budget isn't sufficient then it won't help you or them.

Also, are there international requirements to this hosting like Pharmaceutical GxP, or hosting at a ISO 27001 datacenter?
Also, will you perform your patchmanagement yourself, and do you require firewalling? What bandwidth, what sort of IOPS do you require?
If you give us an URS, i am sure we can come up with one or 2 hosters that can accomodate you.

hello
i made myself not clear i guess.
best dc i meant best hosting company to get a server from that this hosting company has servers in best DC.
in total we need six servers and not 1.
servers will be used for data backup servers from our worldwide servers that will be sending data to the server 24/7 non stop
please advise where to get a server am looking for stable fast and good company.

There are many great datacenters in the Netherlands, if you're looking for a good DC and a provider with server hardware you can open a topic here with a request for quotes. For that you need to be a bit more specific like the server specifications, uplink speed, traffic, etc etc.. Agreed, just give us a User Requirement Specification, and we can come up with a design, functional specification, and a quote.
If you already know you need six servers, i assume you have the design already done, and just need 6 windiws or linux servers, with remote access, and are looking to build the cluster itself.
So basically, you will need to specify the amount of data you are planning to burn (mbit and total), provide the licenses for software/OS, and specify the processor/memory/storage-needs.
Also, you may want these servers to be backed up themselves, and since they will contain your sensitive data, you might want the servers stored in a ISO 27001 certified data center.
The Netherlands have many very good data centers, so rest assured we can accomodate your needs, we just need to know what you need. ;-) (and your bugget ;-) )

Have you already found a provider? Do you need the specific E5530 type processor or is an equivalent processor with an equal / better clock speed and HT also sufficient?
