Hello all, I apologize for writing in english and I hope to not upset anybody.

I need advice with dedicated hosting (linux). I am looking for a stable and relatively cheap dedicated server provider in europe.

I know that dedicated hosting is generally available in US and in UK, however legislation and politics in these countries make me look for hosting companies where DMCA and other draconian laws are not in effect.

France, Germany, UK and the US are out of my list...

I was considering Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland or Netherlands... which country is more liberal, no censorship, especially for free speech and political content?

Also any recommendations of dedicated server companies (that respect privacy and support free speech) in these countries will be greatly appreciated.

I'm very curious about the type of content you want to host. If you're concerned about freedom of speech, Denmark, Norway or Sweden is your best bet. Copyright laws etc are not much different here then the countries that are out of your list.

No specific requirement for the server (dedicated - linux)

The intent is not copyright violation (piracy) but freedom of speech

The budget is 70 euro's a month max.

(I have found leaseweb DOT com with a debian package that seems quite nice)
