Onderwerp: 1U in Amsterdam

Hello all,

I'm looking for 1U incl. 100 GB data transfer in Amsterdam. Remote reboot would be nice, but not required. A few (special) requests:

- Provider must be able to provide us with a BGP session OR announce a /22 (out of our own PA allocation) for us.

- Provider must pick up our 1U server in Amsterdam, currently colocated at InterXS (don't ask me right now which data center this is - but I believe RedBus), and install the server for us in the new location.

- It would be nice to know how quickly the provider can replace e.g. a broken HDD and what the cost for such remote hands would be. Time is not that important, rather a realistic (!) value of how quickly it can be done. Please specify if you're really 24x7 on-site or if this is just marketing. :-) If you're not (no problem), please let me know a realistic value of how quickly something like hardware replacement or manual server reboots can be done.

- I expect reasonable support via eMail or telephone. The former is more important. Do you can answer within 12-24 hours? Once the server is in the new location, we won't need any support except for probably the above mentioned (hardware broken).

- Please specify monthly price and price if we prepay for 12 months.

- Payment variants? IBAN bank transfer, PayPal, credit card? Automated (recurring) credit card payment would be most convenient if you only provide monthly payments, IBAN bank transfer if you accept yearly payments.

- We're in Germany and have a VAT ID. VAT does not apply for us.

Could you tell us what type of server you have and what spare parts should be on stock? (what HDD, what memory, what mainboard, etc?)

If we use the same servers, we have the spare parts onsite. If not, we must make sure that we have the spare parts for your server on stock, this makes a big difference in pricing.

Really simple hardware. Just one IDE P-ATA HDD, Realtek or Intel LAN on board. The mainboard is either ASUS or AsRock, nothing fancy. DDR-RAM. So, I suppose everyone has these kind of parts in stock.

why not interaly tranfer the server to an other dc where interxs is POP
like telecity amsterdam or interxion 3 , schiphol rijk ?

other thing can we offer you space at interxion3 within the interxs network
or not?

Phu: it wouldn't change a thing I guess since the reason for finding a new provider is that we want to move away from InterXS.
