We are looking to rent 8 dedicated servers with the specification similar to the Supermicro's SuperServer 6015B-8V (processor Dual Xeon 2.8 or better). Each server should have 6GB of RAM and a 72GB SCSI HDD. The servers should be connected between themselves by 1000BaseT network, 3 out of 8 servers should be connected to the internet at 100BaseT (or better). The system needs 5 IP addresses.

Are you going to install the OS yourself (remote) or what OS should be pre-installed? What kind of traffic bundle should be added to the hosting?

Do you need KVM on the Net for the servers? What kind of support do you need and what kind of contract (3 months / year / 2 years) do you prefere?
OS - gentoo linux 2007.0 amd64. gentoo DOT org (basic install)
KVM - yes (we use KVM through AOC-SIMSO+ at the moment)
Contract term - 1 year or more, support - basic support (not managed)
traffic - 2000GB per server
we also need to have a provision for more servers, i.e. we should be able to add more servers at 1-2 weeks notice

For example:
Setup: 0 euro
Per month: 50 euro
Or
Setup: 200 euro
Per month: 25 euro
The second example is less expensive whichever way you look at it. Why would we want to go for the more expensive solution? Am I missing something here?

12 x 50,00 = 600,00 per year.
12 x 25 = 300 + 200 Setup = 500 euro fist year and 300 in the next periods.

I think the example was quite inadequate.
A better example would be:
50 euro per month
150 euro setup
or
45 euro per month
200 euro setup
Yep, my point exactly - the second one is cheaper in the short term or in the long term.

The traffic, 2000 Gb per server, is this for all 8 servers or only for the three connected to the internet?

At this point I assume that it is 2000 Gb x 8 servers = 16 000 Gb, but it will have to be confirmed on Monday.

When do you need the first 8 systems?
Tools die handig zjn voor ISPs vind je natuurlijk bij Tools 4 ISP.
