At this point I assume that it is 2000 Gb x 8 servers = 16 000 Gb, but it will have to be confirmed on Monday.

WGP, can you please confirm you need 16TB of trafffic per month? Do you have any more information regarding your traffic patterns? Can we make an offer per Mbps (on 95th percentile) instead of per GB? (@Moderators: I know we are supposed to do as the topic starter requests, but 16TB per month, is very close (if not over) 100Mbps on 95th, for normal traffic patterns).

Is it an option for you to buy the servers (via us or via an external company) and take co location and hard-/software support? In that case the monthly price is the lowest (and after 10 months it is cheaper than dedicated servers normally).

We haven't thought about it, but it might be an option

I'll post a quote for the hardware to buy, with an optional colocation package.
I'll also post an option for renting the servers from us (as dedicated servers) but it will have a high setup fee. (it will keep the monthly price affordable)

@WGP: you only need 1 disk per server and does it need to be scsi? Isn't it better to take 2 disks in a RAID-1 config (software raid if your application is not that disk-intensive) and to take sata disks (quite a bit cheaper for more diskspace?)

We only need one 72GB HDD per server (and one additional 72GB HDD for backup for the whole system).
