Can you explain the need for 8 IP's under RIPE conditions?

I use the IP addresses for load-balancing/failover
for several websites. The system is similar to
that offered by UltraDNS.

It wouldn't be required if I ran each website on a single
server of course (or if any one server only served
one site, but I put several on them, not all the same).

Hardware solutions are rather expensive, and typically
work within one colo (network segment), in which case
if the colo goes, so does the website. So to use
hardware solution, and have servers in diverse colos, I'd
additionally require something like akadns in front of
the loadbalancers at each colo. Far too
expensive for me currently to consider.

The server is located in the GrafiX NOC, this is their private datacenter.

I believe the ISP25.nl list is generated out of the ISPs in ispgids.com. The reason you can't find our name there is because our website is still under construction, which is required to get listed.
