I would recommend a server with some WD Raptor Harddiscs or SCSI discs (10k+ rpm) & fast RAM memory if you want to run it with this speed. And/Or you could take RAID 0 (Stripe), thats faster than 1 harddisc.


And I think alot of people want to know if you want Windows Server or Linux.

One little thing...If you want 3TB storage, and you take WD Raptors, you need ehh 20 (WD150GB) Harddiscs, so I think that your budget is too low for that.

I dont think that normale people can offer you a 3TB Server and 5TB of traffic for that budget, you have to contact elcatel or swiftway, maybe they can do you a offer..

Cheap mbits are from 20 to 30euro 1mbit = ±250GB if you do 20 x 20euro = already 400euro and then you only have traffic calculate the server and you might need a budget of more then 600euro..
