Within this role you will be part of a team delivering cutting-edge solutions to our international customer base, using the latest technologies. This is a customer-focused role with opportunities to be involved in every stage of the software lifecycle.

Duties include:
•Working directly with clients in order to understand and shape each client’s requirements and then develop the end solution for the client using our customers portfolio of products.
•Designing and developing all aspects of the customers solution including User Interface, Business Rules, Object Model, Integration and Database model.
•Provide clear technical support and guidance to the customers Project Manager in relation to all technical issues affecting the delivery of a customer solution.
•Provide technical leadership and guidance for the more junior member of the delivery team.
•Specifying and executing Unit Tests, System Tests and Performance Tests of software solutions.

Essential Criteria:
•Experience working in a client facing role; working directly with the client to deliver software solutions (experience of the complete SDLC required).
•A good understanding of Object Oriented design and programming.]
•You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively (oral, written and presentation).
•You have the ability to work on your own initiative and organise and manage your own time.

Desirable Criteria:
•Experience working with relational database technologies
•Industrial experience of the following technologies◦Java or C++ or .NET programming languages
•XML / XSL / HTML
•Experience and knowledge of a number of operating environments – Windows, UNIX.
•Strong understanding on integration technologies, and ability to design and implement complex integrations.
•Knowledge of developing and using Web services.
•Good general understanding of four or more of the following technologies – business intelligence, knowledge management, web application server, GUI design, workflow and application integration.
•A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
•Ability to work on your own initiative, organize and manage your time.
