Remote Hand Service in NL

Hi there,

we are a german company with an own datacenter in Frankfurt. For some customers we are expanding our services to the netherlands.

Unfortunately we don't know which datacenter is the right one for us yet but we want to be sure that we can offer our german "First-Class-Support" in the netherlands as well. For this we are searching for some guy(s) who can support us with the following services:

- 24/7 Stand-By-Service
- Hardware-Up- & Downgrades
- OS Installation
- Rack Mounting of servers, switches, etc.

Administration-Skills in Linux ( 90% ) & Windows ( 10% ) would be great. Juniper-Know-How is very welcome!

Both Linux, Windows, OSX, Juniper, Cisco or Brocade is fine. They are all a tool, not a goal. I have 10+ years relevant experience in the xSP-sector.

I can't offer 30 minutes, even not without knowing an exact datacenter location.

Most larger datacenters offer 24x7 support on datacenter services, with remote (smart) hands. We currently support many foreign customers in our Rotterdam datacenter.

By the way: Randy is a great person, technically skilled.

Depending on the location in Amsterdam we can offer a 30 minutes response time. An independent organisation (Linux Professional Institute) provides the certification to proof the Linux skills we have. For Windows we have 10+ years experience. We also have multiple years experience in the xSP-sector.

Questions and reactions in German aren't a problem, however the reaction will not be in German.

I can assure you that it'll make more sense to combine your search for a datacenter and support. You won't be able to find anybody if you can't specify where the support needs to be provided (so you'll first need to know which datacenter you're going with). Moreover, a single person can never possibly cover 24/7 with a 30-minute response time.

Your best bet will probably be to find a colocation provider who can also provide remote hands. We do this for a variety of customers (most of which are hosting companies which are based in other parts of the world) - we basically manage all their physical needs.
