Functional Specialist Traceability

UTZ CERTIFIED has developed a new web based traceability infrastructure called Octopus, enabling commodity industries to show transparency and give insight in the different levels of sustainability throughout the supply chain.
You are responsible for the functional management of the application. Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of business processes and logistics enable you to rapidly build up functional expertise. You plan, organise and support the implementation for the internal organisation as well as external chain parties and certification bodies. You develop support material and you advise and support chain members in the integration of Octopus. You join UTZ presales in external presentations. Your service oriented attitude and interpersonal skills smoothen effective communication and implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project management of implementation with internal and external stakeholders;
• Functional Management and translation of business requirements into functional
designs;
• (Pre)sales support;
• Supplier management, SLA management;
• Perform risk assessments and impact analyses of the traceability system;
• Monitoring kpi’s and advising on action and scenarios.

The Functional Specialist reports to the Traceability Manager
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a client oriented area
(customer support, sales, call centre) in a medium-sized organization
• Degree in Business or Computer Sciences or related
• Passion for ICT
• Experience with the organizational implementation of ERP and/or workflow systems;
• Ability to translate business requirement into ICT solutions;
• Fluency in English and Dutch, other languages are plusses;
• Strong social skills and business mentality
• Excellent analytical skills, project management and organizational skills;
• Independent and able to work in a very dynamic environment;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Proactive, committed to excellence;
• Intercultural team player, international work experience.
