Role: System administrator

SpamExperts is looking for a skilled System administrator to enhance its team in Amsterdam. You will become part of a small team and are responsible for maintaining the various Debian servers operated by SpamExperts. This includes monitoring for problems on the machines, improving the automatic monitoring system, enhancing the various backup systems, and providing direct customer support.

- Required skills
Bash scripting
Debian experience
Fluent Dutch/English

- Desired/beneficial skills
Sysadmin scripts in non-Bash languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Ruby)
MySQL tuning/configuration/query analysis

- Tasks
Monitoring of servers
Automated monitors scripting
Fixing issues on servers
First/second line support
Monitoring system (Zabbix)
Backup system
