Ja dat scheelt inderdaad een hoop. Overigens heb ik wel van test-gebruikers gehoord dat ze vinden dat FleXbouncer veel sneller is in het "rejoinen" van channels.

Nieuwe update uit van FleXbouncer. Toch een aantal problemen verholpen. Wordt erg positief ontvangen op het moment door huidige bedrijven die het gebruiken en natuurlijk de gebruikers.

Zoals altijd is deze versie t/m 10 gebruikers ook weer gratis te gebruiken! Er zijn ook nog enkele test-accounts beschikbaar indien u beta-tester wilt worden. Zie voor meer informatie hierover de pagina "free-bouncer" op www.flexbouncer.com.

FleXbouncer 1.1.0 is ready for public download! Get it from the download section. Changelog:
- WARNING: Small database change. Please run the
database_structure_update_from_older_versions.sql file supplied with this
package on your database with for example PHPMyAdmin.
- A clean changelog for this version.
- The connection phase of the program is now completely non-blocking. This means
that some failing IRC server cannot let FleXbouncer hang.
- The speed of connecting to IRC servers has been improved. Multiple users are
connected at the same time now if they use a different virtual host! We can
even connect people faster than other known bouncers of an improved connection
with Oidentd.
- New users in database, but not in program memory: When you try to login as a
new user, the program will do a single lookup for this user. If does exist,
a complete database synchronisation will be performed, deleting old users, and
then, connecting new users to their server (if server is set).
The same behavious is implemented for password changes.
- Users with an unknown vhost ID are no longer connected to the default interface.
- New message log easier to read.
- Ping/Pong features to make sure inactivate connections are alive.
- New field in database with the last-logged in IP address. (last_ip)
- Small fixes, improvements in speed and improvements in user-messages.
- Clean program shutdown.
