Passwd reset HP2626 / 2650 / 2850

Weet iemand hoe ik (met consolekabel) het password kan resetten van een HP2626. Enkel het password, factory-reset is geen optie omdat het beste ding met onbekende IP's in productie staat via HSRP.

weet niet of het werkt op een 2626 (heb er zelf een paar maar dit nooit hoeven testen) maar bij een 2824 wordt gezegd:

Answer: Merely pressing the recessed "Clear" button on the face of the switch for up to 10 seconds will clear its password protection. Werkt zo bij cisco catalyst 1900 en 2900 switches ook, alleen die hebben een degelijke knop. Hoef je niet alles af te zoeken naar een paperclip...
Password reset werkt trouwens bij heel veel switches (en routers) op die manier omdat je dan altijd nog de fysical access als beveiliging hebt.
Als iemand bij je apparaat kan komen dan moet je niet bang zijn dat hij het wachtwoord reset... eerder dat hij niet het hele apparaat meeneemt

Ik neem aan dat jij ook niet in het menu komt van dat ding, i.v.m. passwd?

Laat even weten of het werkt met die "clear" toets. Altijd handig om te weten...

ik heb wel eens met de clear toets gedaan (ben je wel je configuratie kwijt zo ver ik weet) daarna kon ik gewoon via console kabel erin
