Searching: 100 mbit - 10 TB traffic

Hi,

I'm new here at you forums, I'm from Germany; sorry for my bad English, I hope, you'll understand my question :

I searched for a long time for a cheap offer: a full-speed 100mbit server with much traffic - not possible to find a offer that's cheap.

Some people told me, in NL I could get cheaper offers, because the traffic here isn't as expensive as in Germany.
But sorry, I can't read / speak your language, so it was hard to read the offers here in your forum.

It would be very friendly, if somebody here could post a cheap offer.
I need a server which has always full speed (100mbit, non shared).

For example: 250 GB HDD,
1024 MB ram,
Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz

8-10 TB traffic / month

Well, the traffic in Germany is way cheaper than in The Netherlands; you've been informed completely wrong. That config will cost about EUR 600,00 per month (and that would be quite cheap).

Correct, traffic is not really really cheap foranon overbooked, non shared port anywhere.

Dude, 33 Mbit 95% zal geen 10TB zijn, een vuistregel is om voor 1 Mbit 95% 200GB te nemen. Dat komt dus op zo'n 6,5TB.

Nagenoeg onmogelijk, als je een aanbieding plaatst moet je uitgaan van een minimum en niet een maximum. 33 mbit komt simpel weg niet dicht genoeg in de buurt van 10 TB, daarnaast kan de klant dit toch niet lezen (i.v.m. zijn gebrek aan Nederlands) dus lijkt mij niet dat dit valt onder het wegstelen van een klant. Dit lijkt mij slechts een vriendelijke tip voor degene welke een aanbieding heeft geplaatst.

Maar laten we met z'n alle terug on topic gaan en laten we de mensen welke een aanbieding willen plaatsen rustig hun gang laten gaan zoals de klant eerder in dit topic heeft verzocht.

If it is an option to buy the hardware and colocate it after that then I could do you an offer. If you would like it to use German for questions then that is no problem (answers will be in Dutch or English, just what you like).

Maybe you should read the requirements of the TS a bit more carefully..

So, he needs to burst to 100mbit at ANY given time. With this in mind, and the fact that he needs 10TB, it's impossible to do 10TB traffic over a 33mbit commitment..

If the TS is going to burst alot, 1mbit won't be more than 200GB. Our average is around 175GB..

Btw, why not offer him 10TB in stead of 33mbit?
